A striking arum, producing a beautiful pink flower spathe in spring with a greenish base and white stripes running through it in spring. This is followed by large 3 lobed leaves through summer. Requires good drainage
It is most important to site these plants in a shady spot where the bulbs will remain dry over winter. If the bulbs are wet during winter they will rot out. Arisaemas are best planted in the same situation as Hosta's. They will naturally go dormant in autumn and winter. Fertiliser can be applied but is not essential.
