One of the most spectacular and interesting Arisaeme species for the garden. A large plant with a green flower and strange tongue. Prefers a semi shaded, well drained situation. Winter dormant.
It is most important to site these plants in a shady spot where the bulbs will remain dry over winter. If the bulbs are wet during winter they will rot out. Arisaemas are best planted in the same situation as Hosta's. They will naturally go dormant in autumn and winter. Fertiliser can be applied but is not essential.
