A rarely available form of purple beech. 'Dawyck purple' produces? dark purple foliage which deepens with exposure to the sun. Ideal for avenue planting or where space is tight. Effective against light coloured walls or with silver underplanting. Deciduous. Hardy. Moist but well drained soil. Full sun.
Plant Care: 
Great singular specimen tree or avenue tree strong. Tolerant of most soils including wet. Feed once a year with Texture Plants 12 month planting food. Little pruning is required other than minor form pruning or crown raising. For best autumn colour plant in cooler areas
