A dwarf Rhododendron forming a rounded shrub of deep green foliage. Trusses of light mauve-pink flowers that fade to pure white are produced in spring. Prefers a loose, open, acidic soil with plenty of organic matter added to retain moisture. Mulch regularly. Part-shade. Evergreen. Hardy.
Plant in a moist but free draining soil which is slightly acidic. Mulch with acidic mulch in autumn and spring, mulch such as chopped conifer needles is ideal. Feed once a year with a Rhododendron food. Dead head spent flower heads to promote better flowering in the next season. Watch for thrips and leaf roller caterpillar.
