A NZ native tree with feathery, pairs of leaflets; 10-20 pairs per stem. The native birds are attracted to the brilliant yellow flowers from July to October. Requires good drainage and watering in dry spells. Sun to semi-shade. Hardy. Semi-evergreen.

Plant Care: 

New Zealands national flower. Plant in any reasonable well drained soil. Feed once a year with Texture Plants 12 month planting food. Prune to shape after flowering.
