Acer palmatum Skeeter’s Broom is a compact, slow-growing Japanese maple with an upright, vase-like form and a striking display of seasonal colour. 

Its small, densely packed leaves emerge bright red in spring, deepen to rich burgundy in summer and turn vibrant scarlet in autumn.

Ideal for small gardens, containers or feature planting, this hardy deciduous tree prefers a sheltered position protected from strong winds, in full sun to part shade.

Thrives in moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter.
