A solitary agave forming a tight, compact rosette of glaucous grey-green leaves edged with bold dark red-brown spines. Its sculptural form makes it an excellent specimen plant for containers or well-drained garden beds.

Thrives in full sun and requires protection from frost. Evergreen and drought-tolerant, it adds dramatic texture and colour to xeriscapes and succulent collections.
