Alchemilla mollis commonly known as Lady’s Mantle, is a classic, hardy perennial valued for its soft, velvety foliage and delicate floral display. It forms a low, spreading mound of rounded, scalloped leaves that charmingly catch and hold water droplets, creating a shimmering effect after rain or morning dew.

In summer, it produces airy sprays of greenish-yellow flowers that rise above the foliage, adding a soft texture to garden borders, cottage gardens and mixed perennial plantings. It performs best in full sun to part shade and tolerates a range of soil types, provided there is adequate moisture.
