A clump forming perennial with tufts of narrow grey green leaves and delightful lavender blue flowers with a dark centre. The flowers are carried on slender wiry stems above the foliage from early summer and bring a light airy feel to the garden. Drought tolerant and great mass planted.

The papery flowers make perfect picking or drying and keep their colour well indoors. Also suits borders and cottage gardens or gravel plantings. Plant in a well drained position in full sun. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. Semi-evergreen.
