Native to the Robinson Crusoe Islands off the coast of Chile, Dendroseris littoralis or the Robinson Crusoe Cabbage Tree, is a striking plant with bold, large glossy leaves that can grow to the size of tennis rackets.

 The plant grows on a branching trunk, creating a dramatic, tropical appearance. In summer it produces orange, daisy-like flowers that add seasonal colour.
