A distinctive New Zealand native with a graceful, grass-like form and long, narrow foliage that creates a striking architectural feature in the garden. Naturally found from the East Cape southwards, from coastal areas to subalpine regions, it is well suited to native plantings, mixed borders and feature landscapes.

Clusters of small white flowers appear in summer, adding seasonal interest. Thrives in full sun to partial shade with fertile, well-drained soil. Keep moist while establishing, then it will tolerate drier conditions. Hardy and evergreen.
