Echinopsis chamaecereus also known as the Peanut Cactus, is an easy-to-grow trailing cactus with long, finger-like stems. In spring it produces showy orange-red flowers. Prefers a bright indoor position but can be grown outdoors with protection.

Water moderately, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings and keep drier in winter. Evergreen and low maintenance, ideal for pots, rockeries or indoor displays.
