A great plant for creating a tropical look in an area protected from strong winds and frost. Produces long dark purple leaves from a central rosette that give the garden a bold lush feel. The large leaves can tatter in strong wind so a sheltered position keeps them looking their best.

Ideal in pots around pools or as a feature plant to break up a wall or fence. Prefers a warm position with good drainage and regular watering through summer. Protect from frost. Evergreen.
