Low Maintenance

Halocarpus bidwillii, also known as New Zealand Bog Pine, is a slow-growing New Zealand native conifer with dense, scale-like dark green foliage. It naturally forms a low shrub or small tree, often taking an erect, slightly spreading habit in alpine and subalpine sites.

Ideal for rockeries, coastal gardens and well drained or exposed locations. Prefers full sun to part shade. Evergreen and hardy, it provides year-round structure, texture and a sculptural presence in the garden.
