A small upright New Zealand native shrub endemic to the South Island, where it naturally occurs in mountainous areas. It forms a neat, compact habit with fine foliage and produces plentiful small white flowers through summer, adding delicate seasonal interest.

Ideal for rock gardens, alpine plantings, borders and exposed sites, it thrives in full sun with well-drained soil. Hardy and evergreen.
