A slow growing low whipcord hebe with dark green foliage and small white flowers. The tightly overlapping scale-like leaves give the branches a distinctive rope-like texture that looks more like a conifer than a typical hebe. Its sculptural form adds structure and interest through every season.

Requires good drainage and a sunny to partial shade position. Ideal for rock gardens and alpine troughs or native garden borders and it also suits gravel gardens and containers. Needs very little pruning to keep its shape. Evergreen.
