A compact New Zealand native shrub with narrow green foliage that develops rich purple tones in colder months. Charming violet-blue flowers appear in autumn, providing colour when many other plants have finished flowering. An excellent choice for borders, low hedging, containers and coastal planting.

Thrives in full sun to light partial shade with moist, well-drained soil and tolerates wind and exposed coastal conditions. Hardy and evergreen.
