A compact hebe producing violet purple flower spikes from autumn to spring when most other shrubs have finished for the year. The glossy green foliage forms a neat rounded mound that looks smart all year round. Attractive to bees and butterflies.

Its tidy habit suits borders and low hedging or mass planting and it works equally well in a large container on a patio. Tolerant of coastal windy dry sites once established. Prefers good drainage in sun or partial shade. Lightly trim after flowering to keep the plant compact. Evergreen and hardy.
