A hebe with deep green glossy foliage and lilac flower spikes through summer. The rich dark leaves provide a handsome backdrop for the soft flowers and keep the plant looking smart all year round. Attractive to bees and butterflies.

Its upright habit suits borders and informal hedging or mass planting and it also works well in a large container on a sunny patio. Tolerant of coastal windy dry sites once established. Prefers good drainage and a sunny position. Hardy. Evergreen.
