Helichrysum coralloides is a wonderful low-growing New Zealand native shrub forming tiny scale like leaves resembling coral. Small, understated flowers appear in summer, adding delicate seasonal interest.

Well suited to rockeries, coastal gardens, alpine plantings and other well drained sites. Prefers full sun and moist, free draining soil. Evergreen and hardy, it provides year-round texture, structure and a subtle sculptural presence in the garden.
