A compact, hardy perennial forming a neat clump of dark green foliage with clusters of rich violet-blue flowers held on slender stems. Flowering over a long period, the blooms are excellent for cutting and retain their colour well when dried.

Well suited to mixed borders, coastal gardens and containers. Thrives in full sun with well-drained soil and is tolerant of dry conditions once established. Evergreen.
