Liriope m. Royal Purple is a hardy, clump-forming perennial featuring glossy dark green, grass-like foliage. From late summer into winter, it produces dense spikes of deep purple, matchstick-like flowers that rise above the foliage, providing bold colour and texture in shaded garden areas.
