A rare and unusual perennial bulb native to South Africa. Massonia depressa forms two smooth, rounded, succulent leaves that lie flat against the ground, creating a striking rosette.

In winter it produces unique, creamy-white, powderpuff-like flowers that emerge from the centre of the foliage. Ideal for rockeries, alpine houses or containers. This unique perennial is summer dormant.
