Oxalis flava Image
Low Maintenance

A highly decorative bulbous perennial forming neat tufts of fine grey-green foliage close to the ground. From late autumn through to early spring, the plant is covered in large buttercup-yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers that provide a cheerful burst of colour during the cooler months.

Its compact habit and prolific flowering make it an excellent choice for rockeries, gravel gardens, alpine plantings and containers, where the bright blooms can be fully appreciated.

Best grown in full sun with free-draining soil, it is hardy, easy to grow and well suited to dry garden situations. A rewarding plant that brings vibrant seasonal interest when many other perennials are dormant.
