Low Maintenance

A unique New Zealand native shrub often found growing naturally as an epiphyte on larger trees. Clusters of bright red buds open to fragrant yellow flowers in spring, followed by attractive orange seed capsules that split to reveal sticky black seeds.

An excellent choice for native gardens and woodland plantings, where its graceful, arching habit adds year-round interest. Thrives in partial shade with fertile, well-drained soil and benefits from shelter from harsh winds. Hardy and evergreen.
