A popular fast growing perennial known for its long blooming magenta pink flowers and dark red stems. The foliage is lightly citrus scented and the tubular flowers are a magnet for bees and hummingbirds in the garden and for native birds such as tui and bellbirds. A generous flowerer that keeps the colour coming from summer through to autumn.

Excellent for borders and containers or pollinator gardens. Suits well drained soils in full sun to light part shade. Trim back lightly after the first flush of flowers to encourage fresh growth and more blooms.
