A striking evergreen perennial prized for its brilliant yellow and vivid purple flowers and bold tropical foliage. The upright blooms rise above broad green leaves to create an eye catching display through summer and the sculptural form adds a lush exotic feel to the garden all year round.

Ideal in a container or a sheltered warm spot with good drainage. In the garden it needs a frost free position. Makes a dramatic feature beside a courtyard or entrance or on a sunny patio. Evergreen.
