A versatile and vibrant groundcover that forms a mat of tough and fragrant foliage with crimson red flowers from spring to late summer. The tiny dark green leaves release a pleasant herbal scent when brushed or walked on and the flowers are a magnet for bees. Great for rock gardens, between pavers or cascading down walls and also useful for softening path edges and filling gaps in gravel plantings.

Prefers full sun and free draining soil and is drought tolerant once established. Tolerates light foot traffic. Trim lightly after flowering to keep the mat dense. Hardy. Evergreen.
