$24.99
Weinmannia racemosa commonly known as Kāmahi, is a spreading New Zealand native tree that can reach up to 25m tall with a trunk to around 1m in diameter. It has dark green, leathery leaves and produces masses of creamy to pink flowers in summer, creating a soft canopy display that attracts pollinators.
It often begins life as an epiphyte on tree ferns before establishing in the ground. Common in regenerating bush, along streams and on clay banks. Adaptable and hardy. Prefers moist, well drained soil in full sun to part shade.
Evergreen and long lived, it provides excellent shelter, canopy structure and native character in larger landscapes.
