A sought-after and unusual spring-flowering Aroid, Arisaema ringens (Green Form) adds a touch of the exotic to shaded garden spaces. In early spring it produces an eye-catching hooded spathe with green and black striping, resembling a cobra’s hood followed by bold, glossy, dark green trifoliate foliage.

Best suited to a woodland style setting, this hardy perennial prefers a free-draining, humus-rich soil in a semi-shaded position. Winter dormant and easy-care once established, it slowly forms an attractive clump.
