Ophiopogon Hosoba Kokuryū is a fine leaved form of mondo grass with striking, deep purple black foliage that provides bold contrast in the garden. More delicate and grass-like than Ophiopogon nigrescens, it produces small lilac flowers in summer, followed by glossy black berries.
