Low Maintenance

Rhipsalis rhombea commonly known as Copper Branch, is an epiphytic cactus with fleshy, flattened green stem segments that transform into a rich coppery-purple hue when exposed to full sun. In spring and summer, small pale yellow funnel-shaped flowers bloom, adding a delicate contrast to its striking stems.

This cactus thrives in a bright position, with protection from the hot afternoon sun to prevent sunburn. Water regularly, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings and keep it drier during winter. Rhipsalis rhombea is best grown indoors but can also be cultivated in a sheltered, frost-free outdoor position. Hardy and adaptable, it’s perfect for both indoor and outdoor enthusiasts.
